This especially holds true when it comes giving a voice to young people. Today, Michaela works with students in a variety of settings, helping them translate their stories and observations into video productions.

Program Description:
“Observations” is a filmmaking and media safety workshop hosted by low budget film productions. One key to being an effective storyteller is to be a good observer. Students will work with filmmaker Michaela Thordarson to articulate, classify, and capture their observations in video format.
