KOS is a unique philosophy of learning in which the arts are integrated with the school’s core curriculum of all the basics – math, science, social studies, English, and reading. It is a partnership between KOS Foundation of Maury County, the Maury County Public School System, and the Mt. Pleasant School of The Visual and Performing Arts, Mount Pleasant High School, and Mount Pleasant Elementary School. KOS Foundation of Maury County was founded in an effort to make a difference in Mt. Pleasant, Maury County, and serve as a replicable example to communities throughout the south and beyond.
KOS believes that we can offer unique, high-quality opportunities in the arts to students throughout TN with programs like our I heart Dance Festival.
