Cherri Coleman is a classical coach, interdisciplinary arts educator, and arts education strategist with more than 40 years of experience developing residencies, cultural programs, and community-based arts experiences throughout Tennessee. Her work combines storytelling, movement, visual art, living history, literacy, and student leadership to create immersive arts experiences that strengthen engagement, communication, cultural understanding, and community connection.
Coleman is certified in the Vaganova Method of Classical Ballet, Kniaseff Floor Barre, and Design & Systems Thinking. She is a member of the National Storytelling Network and the former Artistic Director of Springfield School of Classical Dance and Children’s Dance Theatre of Tennessee. Her graduates continue to pursue professional careers, national recognition, artistic leadership, and meaningful impact through the arts.
