Janay Moreland is a master’s level social worker and certified holistic life coach, and Color Therapist. Janay specializes in mental health, with a focus on depression and anxiety treatment.

Janay has always had an interest in helping others. She obtained her bachelor’s degree at Middle Tennessee State University, in 2009, a master’s degree in social work at Tennessee State University in 2013 and became a Color Therapist in 2017 through the School of Natural Health Sciences. She has decided to advance her knowledge in mental and behavioral health and is now enrolled in the Doctorate of Behavioral Health program at Freed-Hardeman University.

After studying creativity as it relates to emotional healing and color theory, Janay decided to blend her knowledge of mental health, creativity, color, and meditation into a practice. In May 2015, Janay founded Vivid: Art Meditation. Janay now provides Art Meditation sessions to individuals and groups in need of emotional balancing. These peaceful, creative art sessions invoke relaxation and inspire inner peace within its participants while decreasing their depressive and/or anxiety symptoms. These sessions are targeted to at-risk youth programs, veterans, and military personnel, recovery and mental health groups, daycares, and senior living facilities. Janay also provides art lessons and Paint Parties for various social events, organizations, support groups, and activities.
