About

The Parthenon features an art collection inside a historical landmark within Centennial Park. Our mission is to share the artistic and educational ideals of Nashville by connecting people of all ages with art, architecture, and history and to be a welcoming and inclusive museum that celebrates community and creates a link between the past and present through art and education.

Program Overview

Our organization offers museum-based arts education programs that integrate visual art, architecture, history, and interdisciplinary STEAM learning for K–12 students and educators. With teacher-leaders and administrators, we then co-design program goals and structures: target grades, desired outcomes, how our STEAM expeditions connect to classroom instruction, and realistic logistics (number of visits, group sizes, and timing).
