Susan Frizsell is an award-winning educator and former literacy curriculum coordinator for the Nashville Public Library. After almost thirty years of classroom experience, she has created unique techniques to make sure students are engaged and learning.
Susan now shares her creative ideas with schools through PD, keynotes, videos and exciting classroom visits with Tent Adventures in which a magical learning environment is set up inside a 10 x 10 tent including a fall farm, a jungle, Antarctica, a pirate ship and more! Kids AND adults are so busy playing and laughing, they don’t even know they are learning.
Because, learning should never be boring!
Program Overview
Literacy-based learning through an active immersive environment, a South American jungle, set up at your school within a 10 x 10 tent, teaching grades Pre-K through 5th, sight words, vocabulary, story structure and grammar. Each class visit has lessons adjusted for levels of learning.
