About

The Arts-Based Collaborative at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga (ABC at UTC) https://www.utc.edu/health-education-and-professional-studies/arts-based-collaborative supports professional development and student learning in arts integration by connecting our ABC at UTC teaching artists with schools across the Greater Chattanooga region. We provide arts-integrated workshops and classroom residencies that connect artistic processes with standards-based learning needs in STEM, literacy, and SEL that include clear learning targets and embedded assessments. ABC at UTC is also an affiliate of the Wolf Trap Institute for Early Learning through the Arts and our content experts can align classroom residencies with a wide array of curricular initiatives.

Program Overview

A variety of arts-based learning experiences, including in-classroom teaching artist residencies focused on arts integration in multiple art forms, multi-grade arts programs, school-wide and community engagements, professional development in arts integration, and exposure to art forms. Our programs are customizable and developed to fit needs and learning goals.
