Sharon Kaye Edwards is an award-winning author, speaker, playwright, executive producer, anti-bullying activist and entrepreneur making a notable impact in the lives of youth since 2012. She, along with her husband, celebrity photographer Ellery Edwards, founded the non-profit I AM INVISIBLE BULLYING and SUICIDE Organization. Together, they bring together a strategic collaboration of educators, professionals, and those with a heart to serve school age children. I AM INVISIBLE is the dominant anti-bullying and anti-suicide organization in the Greater Nashville area; featured on Talk of the Town Nashville, Fox 17, WSMV Channel 5 News, and the front page of The Leaf Chronicle Newspaper.
Edwards is also the CEO and founder of SKE Publishing, which coordinates and directs programs designed to empower and educate children, parents, teachers and community leaders. She also created the SKE School Assembly Program, a custom school-wide presentation. In partnership with SKE Publishing, I AM INVISIBLE has toured the Clarksville-Montgomery school network featuring young celebrities like Crissy Collins and DJ Pryor. Edwards also toured Atlanta schools alongside Shameik Moore for the “Stop the Bullying Tour”. Edward’s other youth-focused flagship program is the “BE YOU Talent Showcase,” which highlights their talents and abilities.
Her fiery passion and unwavering belief that all children deserve a voice are the fuel that keep I AM INVISIBLE relevant, impacting change, and moving forward. The team has spread its message of hope through programs conducted throughout Tennessee, Kentucky and Georgia.
“Mama Sharon” is a survivor of childhood bullying who shatters stigmas and uses her life to encourage others to love one another. Published works include The Bullying & Suicide Guide for the 21st Century (2016), The Girl Who Felt Invisible (2017), and It’s Okay to Be Different (2017). She resides in Clarksville, TN with her husband and beautiful family.
