For over 35 years Playhouse on the Square’s Department of Theatre Education has provided professional theatre education programs at the theatre, at schools, and now at home with offerings in-person and online. Playhouse’s Education programs annually serve close to 30,000 children, teens, and adults in Memphis, Shelby County, and the Tri-State area. From preschoolers to adults, our programs aim to engage, inspire, enlighten, and entertain our community whether they are audience members or performers on and off the stage.
