Olive B. Durant, better known as, “Lolly” is a “Jack” of varied craft trades: potter, printmaker, marbler of paper & marbled cloth embroidery. As a teacher, a self-proclaimed risk-taker, and a caretaker of my thoughts I reflect on the “why’s?”. Firmly rooted in connecting craft and people I move slowly through the narrow shadows of life as a canoe floating downstream recognizing the spiritual reality of each new day. ” Your mind is a garden, your thoughts are seeds, you can grow flowers or you can grow weeds.” an old rhyme.
