Narrative 4 is a global nonprofit that harnesses the power of the story exchange to equip and embolden young adults to improve their lives, communities, and world.

In the seven years since its founding, Narrative 4 has facilitated the exchange of over 48,000 stories, across four continents, 20 states, and 200 schools. Narrative 4’s goal is to build the next generation of empathic leaders, starting with students. N4 comes alongside schools across the globe to work with teachers and students to address the necessity of social-emotional learning. Research into N4’s story exchange methodology has demonstrated its power to increase levels of empathy and connectedness among those who participate. In 2019, N4 launched a Southeast Regional Hub, based out of Nashville. It plans to one day have story exchanges running in every school in Tennessee.
