About
Passionate about the written and spoken word, Emily Katt (Master of Arts in Communication and Storytelling Studies from East Tennessee State University) is an award-winning writer and former magazine editor, who currently serves as Program Assistant at the International Storytelling Center in Jonesborough, Tennessee, and performs with the Jonesborough Storytellers Guild. With over 17 years of experience as a professional educator, Emily Katt has served in various realms ranging from preschool to adult classrooms, from camps to workshops to tutoring sessions, from traditional schooling to alternative formats like Montessori and homeschool programs, and currently teaches storytelling at ETSU.
