About
Founded in 1954, the Chattanooga Boys Choir is one of Tennessee’s longest-standing youth arts organizations, serving boys and young men through exceptional choral music education and performance. Under the leadership of Artistic Director Vincent Oakes, the Choir reaches hundreds of students annually through its five ensembles, in-school educational programs, festivals, and community outreach. Recognized for artistic excellence and innovative programming, the Choir performs throughout the United States and internationally while fostering musical achievement, leadership, confidence, and character. Through engaging school residencies and interactive performances, the Chattanooga Boys Choir inspires young people and communities with the transformative power of singing.
