This showcase gives participants an opportunity to preview the work that you, as a teaching artist can bring to various educational environments. Each artist will have 5 minutes to present a sampling of their work. Presentations should should be curriculum based, and provide 300 participants with an idea of what you can bring to their schools. Artists might perform, dress in costume, share video clips of residencies, display action photos of your work with students of any age, share examples of student work… get creative!
Note that the number of slots available is limited, and applicants will be chosen on an ongoing basis, based on qualifications, strength of the proposal, and our ability to accommodate your requests. The Tennessee Arts Commission reserves the right to refuse any proposal.
