Poetry Out Loud State Finals Travel Assistance Application

Each person (teacher and/or chaperone) seeking to receive travel reimbursements must fill out a form by January 31st at 5PM CT.

2026 Poetry Out Loud Travel Assistance Form

The Tennessee Arts Commission is able to provide a limited amount of travel assistance to qualifying state finals participants based on need and availability. If awarded travel assistance, funding will be provided on a reimbursement basis at least 30 days AFTER the state finals to ONE chaperone and ONE teacher (should the teacher be attending in addition to the chaperone) of the school champion. The amount of funding will be determined by geographic location and demonstrated need. Applicants will be notified of the exact award amount before the state finals. The chaperone and school champion must prove attendance at the state finals to receive the travel award. This form should be returned by 5PM CT on or before January 31, 2026.
