ArtEffect Project Now Accepting Applications

The ArtEffect Project, with cash prizes totaling $13,500, teaches students their power to create positive change by honoring the legacies of Unsung Heroes from history. The competition is open to U.S. and international students in grades 6-12, and is free to enter.

The ArtEffect Project, with a $7,500 grand prize, gives students an opportunity to generate unique, creative interpretations both literal and abstract that honor the legacies of Unsung Heroes in an array of artistic mediums. Students may choose between celebrating an already discovered Unsung Hero or discovering a new Unsung Hero to share with the world.

Winning art projects may be chosen for display in LMC’s Hall of Unsung Heroes in Fort Scott, Kansas.

The final deadline to submit art is February 15, 2017.
